Otherness is an erotic magazine whose editorial line is the recognition of what is other. The artists and contributors who take part in the project, mainly queer people and womxn, are invited to use visual arts to express their perceptions of the erotic. Eroticism is a broad, fluid definition of what it means to love, and it is understood here as an evolving exploration of our sexualities and identities, attentive above all to our personal feelings and pleasures.
For this third issue, the curation explores the feeling of long-lasting love in short term and long term relationships. Perhaps love has never truly been about how long something lasts, but about how consciously we choose to inhabit the relationships we create. Relationships that evolve beyond inherited narratives where love reveals itself as a space of experimentation. With ourselves, with others, whether in monogamous structures or in open relationships. Through this issue, Otherness celebrates relationships fully lived, inviting a reflection on love as presence and on the lasting influence we infuse within one another when we allow ourselves to meet with sincerity, freedom and care.
