Otherness is an erotic magazine whose editorial line is the recognition of what is other. The artists and contributors who take part in the project, mainly queer people and womxn, are invited to use visual arts to express their perceptions of the erotic. Eroticism is a broad, fluid definition of what it means to love, and it is understood here as an evolving exploration of our sexualities and identities, attentive above all to our personal feelings and pleasures.
In this second issue, the curation revolves around notions of masculinity, access to pleasure and freedom in our identities. The aim is to highlight masculinity as a plural notion from which each of us draw our own sexuality, charisma, independence, tenderness, strength and vulnerability. Exploring masculinity through a lens of freedom, passion and transmission between friends, lovers and partners.
